The Death of Klinghoffer is an opera based on the 1985 hijacking of the
cruise ship Achille Lauro. Klinghoffer was filmed in Malta, Cyprus and London
over six weeks, preceeded by six weeks design prep. The major builds were commissioned from the Mediterannean film studios and included ships
cabins, corridors and state rooms, a Palestinian village and refugee camp.
